OUR FLORAL DESIGN PROCESS

1. Get in touch
Whether it be an intimate wedding, lavish celebration, high-end brand collaboration, or private commission, your journey with us begins with an enquiry to learn more about your event.
4. Secure the date
If you’d like to book us for your event, it’s at this point you’ll pay a 10% deposit to secure the date. You’re now an official Foxglove Finch client and our work to create real floral magic for you and your event can properly begin.
2. Let’s chat
If we’re available for your event date, we’ll then schedule a phone call to properly introduce ourselves, delve deeper into your vision, and discuss potential ideas and options.
5. The real work begins
We will work closely together from here, honing your design concepts from colour, style, scent, and feel. We’ll also visit your venue if large-scale installations or unusual mechanics are required to bring your vision to life.
6. Perfecting the details
Once we are close to final designs, Amelia will create some mini mock-up displays with watercolour sketches so you can really see what your florals might look like on the day, and make any final adjustments.
3. Initial proposal
From here, we’ll create an initial floral proposal to bring your ideas to life. You’ll receive a first draft moodboard, an itemised quote, and some rough example sketches to give you a feel for what our service includes.
7. Before the event
We’ll be working hard before your event to ensure all details are ordered and ready in time for installation. Design dependent, we may need access to your venue a few days beforehand too to begin set up for flowering.
8. The day of
We’ll be up at the crack of sparrows, working our floral magic to perfect any final details ready for your day.
9. The aftermath
After the joyous festivities, we’ll be here to handle the clean up, ensuring all is left exactly as it was before us. If you’d like to keep some of your flowers as momentoes, we’ll make sure displays are left ready for you to take home too.
